A new relationship that is.. :)

This boy (Deddy) and I started going out a few days ago.. It's been a while since I've actually dated anyone (same for him too!) LOL! I believe that the wait is well worth it.

God has been preparing me for him.. preparing me mentally and emotionally and when He believes I'm ready, bang! I suddenly met this boy, who's not entirely new to Wellington, yet we only met this year.

I believe that God always has a plan.. everything happens in HIS time.

I'm excited and hopeful to see how this relationship grows.. :)

reading: Just finished Morganville Vampies Books 1 & 2 – Glass Houses and The Dead Girls' Dance I need to get on to book 3 - Midnight Alley

watching: nothing lately.. need to catch up on episodes of Hellcats (sadly now cancelled after the 1st season) and Glee

eating: lots of home made Indonesian food lately thanks to Mark's mom, Tante Linda, who's been cooking for us all..

drinking: lots of water - feeling like I'm coming down with a cold..

wearing: layers.. lots of layers.. getting quite cold now.. it's technically still fall, but it sure does feel like winter already!

feeling: happy, giggly, worried, anxious..

weather: Windy, cold, 14 degrees Celcius..

playing: Zuma Blitz on Facebook.. super hooked on this.

wanting: inspiration, mojo and time to scrap! I've got 3 Studio Calico kits waiting for me to break into!

needing: to exercise and get back into cooking..

waiting: for a special bundle of joy to arrive!!! (Not mine!) ;)

enjoying: talking to and getting to know a certain someone...

thankful: for all that I have - my family, friends, activities and 'someone' who's making me smile a lot. :)

Happy 2nd Birthday Isaiah!!! :)

Last Sunday the usual close group of people got invited to Mba Nina & Jeffry's place for a small 2nd birthday party for Isaiah. :)

This little dude pretty much captured all our hearts from the moment he was born. He's the cutest and cuddliest little friend.. and all of us just can't help but lavish our love, cuddles, hugs and kisses on him.

He's no longer a baby.. and that's a little bit sad that time has flown by so quickly.. he's now a little toddler.. he prefers to hang out with the boys.. and doesn't really want to be picked up and cuddled by us girls anymore.. I'm mourning the loss of that..

He's learnt to say please and thank you, to say my name, Michie, which he pronounces Cici.. I'll take it! :)

He's learnt to cuddle when you ask for it, and he still offers his cheeks when you ask him to kiss you (instead of actually kissing your cheek)..

He loves balls and Blues clues - this explains his birthday cake in the photos! :)

Hi!!!

First of all, Happy St Patrick's Day!!! :)

I'm guesting for Simply Artistic for Card #12. I was totally blown away and honored when Angie Backen contacted me and asked me to guest design or Guest ArTCee as they call it, for this round of ATCs.

Do come along and join in the challenge. This round's prompt is really inspiring and I made 2 ATCs based on it.

On another note, I received my March Studio Calico kit - Into the Woods and Add On #1 - Babbling Brook yesterday. The photos of the kit totally did not do it any justice! There's just so much loveliness in it!! And I finally got the Martha Stewart Classic butterfly punch too!!

I've not touched the kit yet.. I want to do more with Candy Shoppe and then maybe this weekend break into Into the Woods.

Wow February sure flew on by!

With 1st of March turning up, autumn officially started too.. and with that, I caught a cold! UGH!! Not good! But am better now.. thankfully...

Had the chance to scrap a few layouts last couple of weeks.. and forgot that I haven't posted them here yet. So here they are :)

I used Studio Calico's February kit - Candy Shoppe for this one and the bicycle stamp is from their Jetsetter stamp set.

This one is a combination of Studio Calico's February kit - Candy Shoppe, Documentary line paper and Angie Delarie's tags. This was also for my March DT layout over at Angie Delarie.

I misted pretty on any of these layouts with Mister Hueys by Studio Calico.

This is my first month subscribing and I'm loving how the kit is jumpstarting my creative mojo again. Feels really great to be creating again...

Epitome of Wellington Summer

There was a Chinese New Year festival/parade at Frank Kitts park last Sunday and I had made plans with Lia, Sammy, Dira, Dhani, Iyud and Adjie to go.

Sunday dawned bright and beautiful... the perfect kind of summer day for Wellington... all sun, a little bit of cloud and pretty much almost no wind...

I met up with the group at Frank Kitts park, but we got there a bit late and only managed to catch the tail end of the parade - the lion and dragon dances only really. We met Ayu, Kania and Herdi too and Herdi was there with a mission - to take photographs!

Woohoo!! the cam whore in most of us said! :) He obligingly took photos of us all.. and they were pretty cool!

We stayed to catch a bit of the cultural performances - nothing spectacular I must say. And being that it's such a rare perfectly beautiful day in Wellington, the group decided to head to a bubble tea place only to change our minds and ended up at Parade Cafe at Oriental Bay. We walked along the waterfront part of the way and posed for many photos... :)

All in all a pretty photographic afternoon. Herdi, Ayu and I ended the day with dinner at One Red Dog.

Starting Fresh and a GIVEAWAY!!!

I've just been soooo bad with blogging last year.. this year I'm taking pressure off myself and will blog when I can rather than trying to blog each day.

I do have a few things to blog about for January, but I'll probably end up back dating that blogpost :)

For now, I have a new layout to share ... It's for Angie Delarie's new Valentine's Day tags. These are so cute that I was just super inspired to create with them the moment I saw them!!!

Here's my layout - done mainly with KI Memories, American Crafts and Angie's tags. This is a layout of my brother and sister-in-law.

Today was quite a full day - in the late morning, Mark, Tante Linda, Yudhi and myself went to Lower Hutt. We went to Mad Butchers as Mark wanted to stock up on meat.

We drove to Hutt Golf Club - Mark showed Tante Linda and myself around.. took a few pictures... did more grocery shopping at Yans and Pak N Save and then headed to Queensgate for a really late lunch at Bento Bowl.

Went home to rest for a bit before our evening plans.

Went to Lido with Tante Linda and Adjie to watch a rock and roll band play.. really enjoyed that.. we had a nice dinner there too. Yudhi came by to join us a bit later on. We went back to Mark's and just hung out there with Tante Linda.

Went window shopping after work with Mark, Tante Linda and Yulat today. We then went and had our weekly Friday night dinner at Sweet Mother's Kitchen where Bang Dade joined us too.

Adjie and Iyud came by later on and we relocated to Fidels Cafe for coffee and dessert. Sammy came by then and we had a great time laughing and talking, taking a few pictures and just enjoying each other's company.

Some of us then went back to Mark's place to hang out for a bit. I chatted with Tante Linda till quite late and then the boys dropped me home where crashed!

Went and watched the boys play indoor soccer tonight - they had an early game. Some of us got invited back to Mark's place for dinner.

Met his mom, Tante Linda who made yummy mie ayam for dinner! :) Had a lovely time chatting and getting to know Tante Linda tonight.

Today was pretty full on at work. Lisa rang up and we met up for an impromptu dinner date at R & S Noodle House.. one of our favorite places to go.

We went to Yans Asian supermarket and New World.. went home and sorted some embellishments into little baggies.. want to sell them.. :)

Today I stayed home and worked on my DT tutorial - I changed my mind about the one I worked on yesterday and also my DT Halloween avatar.

I dressed up as a geisha.. the makeup was surprisingly easy to do.. and I had fun creating this look! :)

Caught up with Yusuf for brunch at Lido Cafe today (sat in the sun.. which felt amazing!). He's leaving NZ for good next week.. We don't see each other very often but it's always really nice talking to him. :)

Went home and scrapped... worked on Angie Delarie's DT technique tutorial....

After that, I just pretty much went over to Mark's to hang out with the boys for the rest of the evening.. pretty much the last weekend hang out for a while since his mom will arrive on Monday and will be staying for a month.

Ok.. I've finally made my blog public again.

Been trying to re-vamp it a bit.. change things around.. and it's not 100% done done, but I'm ok with that...

It's not up to date and has a huge gap between March and now.. but I've accepted that it will take me a while to get those posts up and that I'll just have to back date them...

I've got most of the links of blogs/websites I want on the right done.. and the general look of this blog re-vamped.. so I'm happy with that.

This month I will start over.. and do my absolute best to keep up with my daily postings... so fingers crossed that will happen... on days that I just can't manage to post, I'll catch up.. and I'm ok with that.

Today I took the plunge and signed up for the Sketchbook Project. My topic of choice.. after much deliberation is.......... Boys and Girls!!!

So what is the Sketchbook Project?? Quoting the Art House Co-Op website:

It's like a concert tour but with sketchbooks.

Thousands of sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the country.

After the tour, all sketchbooks will enter into the permanent collection of The Brooklyn Art Library, where they will be barcoded and available for the public to view.

Anyone - from anywhere in the world - can be a part of the project. To participate and have us send you a sketchbook that will go on tour, start by choosing a theme to the right.

I'm excited, inspired, impatient, nervous, scared but I really want to do this!

Last day of the month!!

Work's pretty slow today - went out to the PO Box to get mail - that killed about 40 minutes.. a nice walk and a chance to get out of the office for a bit. Sarina rang and caught up with me for a bit. Uneventful day really.

Spent the evening doing my nails and reading.

Busted out the paper, glue, glimmer mists, inks and went to town working on Hana's album.

Not feeling 100% today but I still went for my evening walk with Lisa. It's been a while actually!

After our walk, I made dinner for us both - panfried salmon and shrimp omelet (with coriander, onions, celery and beansprout). I loved having company for dinner! :)

Corrected Lia's cover letter for her and read a bit before heading off to bed.

Got up super early and got picked up by Kevin and Mario today. Went to support the boys at Culture Kick in Berhampore - was drizzling for a bit and then it cleared up, but still pretty cold and windy at times!! I was pretty much the only girl (in our group of friends) who was there that early!! Lia and Ovy came along around 11am so I wasn't the only girl there cheering the boys on.

There was a bit of eye candy around but at the same time a fair share of eye sore too!! :D

Poor Emir got injured and ended up in A & E!! :( After both our boys' teams lost, all of us went to A & E to check on him only to find that he would be a while yet, so we went to search for lunch at Yeung Shing Chinese Takeaway - pretty much everyone's favorite! :)

Not long after, Emir actually turned up there with Bang Dade who took him to A & E. That was a pretty late lunch and then I went on to Oriental Bay with Dedi and Edwin to just hang out for a bit and had gelato from Kaffe Eis.

Went home and slept till 7pm - had a splitting headache!! Did a bit of ironing and then went back to bed!

Had a nice lazy read in bed this morning and then lunch at Tante Yanti's in Lower Hutt. Went home and continued reading - finished Kiss Me Once, Kiss Me twice.

Headed out to Fidels for dinner/coffee with a whole bunch of friends - been a while since some of us caught up. It was also Earth Hour when we were there.. a bit hard to eat by candle light I must say.. not a big fan of not being able to see what I put in my mouth!

Went to Borders after work to read for a bit and then got picked up by Sammy for Friday night dinner with the boys at Koriental - great food, good sized portions, reasonable price.

Pretty laid back but busy day at work today - managed to get permission from Russell to leave early to go to KBRI for Bunda and Om Amris's farewell.

Was really happy I managed to attend the farewell and got to say a proper goodbye to Bunda and Babe. Really sad that their term in Wellington has come to an end.

Lia came back to my place and asked for me to help her with her resume. Worked on that for a bit and then she left. Didn't do much for the rest of the evening.. just chilled.

Today was fairly cruisy at work - miserable weather though. :(

Finished a bit early and got dropped home. Read for a bit and then started pulling materials for Hana's album.

Gave myself a fright when I forgot to turn the stove off and the fire in the pot dried up!! OMG! I nearly started a fire!! Eeek!!!

Started working on Hana's album, finished reading Night World 3 and went to bed.

Received new scrappy goodies from Scrapbook Outlet today. Started to form more ideas for Hana's album.

Started searching for photos for the album and editing them - going with sepia toned photos. Attempting vintage-look scrapping - those of you who know me will know that I don't ever do vintage-look... I just don't know how to do muted colors very well. But I'm pretty confident with what I envisioned in my head, so let's hope that the end product looks like what I see in my head!! :)

Flat out day at work today - didn't finish till about 6pm. Got home, cooked salmon, mushrooms and broccoli for dinner - yum!!

Bang Dade stopped by to copy photos from the Southeast Asian Night Market. He also installed a new anti-virus for me on my laptop. YAY!

Did my usual commenting on SISTV, picked my layout for Catwalk this week, printed some photos and read Night World 3 before heading off to bed.

Met up with Lisa today to have a catch up and walked along Lambton Quay. Bought Vampire Academy books since I had Borders discount vouchers to use. :)

Went into Glassons to have a quick look around and saw the tunic I've been wanting and didn't manage to get back in summer were back on the racks and at 1/2 price too!! And they had my size too.. so I guess it's meant to be!

Went grocery shopping, went home, uploaded photos to Facebook, re-read Night World and went to bed.

Uploaded photos from last night on Facebook as I promised Bunda. Did one load of laundry, cleaned up my room a bit, jumped in the shower and got dressed.

Gober and Bibhien came by around midday as agreed - I worked on their make up and then my own for the Southeast Asian Night Market event this evening. Got picked up and driven to Shed 5 where all performers (from all the different countries) were congregating and where the restaurant/bar has been cleared out to convert into one huge waiting area for all of us. It was fun people watching and catching up with Palmy friends.

Had my hair taken care of by Mba Nina while I catch a moment to breathe.

Performed twice tonight.. the first time was a bit nerve-wrecking since we were performing on a heavy platform on the water!! It took a bit to control my balance as the platform moved quite a bit. Russell and Sarina actually turned up to watch me dance! :)

Had a wonder around the food stalls to have a look.. lots of people stopped me and some of the girls to take photos with us in our full costumes. It was pretty fun! :)

Second performance went a lot better and I managed to get used to the moving stage, so was able to keep my balance a lot better! I had fun and was kinda glad when it was over and we could get out of our costumes.. of course not before copious amounts of photos were taken.

Hung out with the girls and others at the Indonesian stall for a bit - ate a bit and just chatted. Initially wanted to go for coffee, but everyone was just too knackered! So we all called it a day.

Today was a pretty long day at work. Bunda PM'd me on Facebook wanting to catch up and told me to rally up the usual suspects. Went for dance practice and briefing at KBRI for tomorrow. We were very well fed at the embassy today! :)

Went home, showered and got ready. Faisal picked me up and we went to pick up Bang Dade as well and headed to Southern Cross. Bunda was already there and not long after, Priza, Mark and Sammy arrived too.

The evening was filled with mojitos (really yummy but packed quite a punch!), photos, lots of laughter, an incident where Bunda and I ended up on the ground and we all went home by around midnight... a pretty memorable evening.

Freezing cold day today - read lots of long reports at work. I needed comfort food so I made mie goreng when I got home from work.. had a pretty cruisy evening today surfing the Net, editing photos, printed 365 photos, read and called it a day in 3 layers of clothing and 2 pairs of socks!!!

Sketching and planning a mini album that I've been commissioned to do! :) It's my ex-bf's and one of my oldest friend's birthdays today... Happy birthday Jay and Happy birthday Yuk Wen!!!

I am just terrible with keeping up with editing my daily photos, scrapping them and blogging this past month or so.. I'm so far behind that I'm panicking about catching up! I hate not having enough time in the day and I hate that some days, after I get home from work, all I want to do is read, or listen to music while I surf blogs or SISTV or Facebook. And I especially hate that I always want to scrap when I'm actually at work, and by the time I get home, the yearning and mojo have just disappeared! UGH! Anyway.. that's all for today... over and out!

Today went soooo slowly at work.. not too sure why! I usually love Mondays.. but today it felt like Monday dragged on for far too long!

I had dance practice after work... took the cable car up to the top of Kelburn and walked to the Indonesian Embassy. I'm glad I took the Night World Vol 1 book with me... re-reading this again.. since I need to stop buying books for a while in order to save up for the iPod Touch that I've been dying to get. :) I read on the cable car and at the Embassy while waiting for practice to start and again at home... sometimes I just get so engrossed in a book I can't do much else. Especially crazy in the cases of the Twilight series since I've read it so many times and I still find it hard to put the books down, even after re-reading them. I'm finding the same problem with the Night World series today... :)

Went to mass and window shopped on the way to KBRI for dance practice. Went into Bling and bought 2 new eyeshadow quads... pretty colors! Pretty good deal too - only $10 for each of them.

Went and have a little browse and read at Borders and then went to practice.

Edited and printed Napier road trip photos, re-read Night World and went to bed. A good Sunday in all!

Spent the day making satays and satay sauce for Southeast Asian Night Market at Lia's place.

A whole group of us came together and got it all done - lots and lots of satays! 1400 skewers in all! Exhausting but we had a lot of fun.. lots of cam-whoring in during the whole process too!

Freak weather today! Sunny one minute and 10 minutes later, I got drenched by the rain as I walked back from the bank! UGH!!!

After dinner at Taste of Korea with the boys, I practically went home, layered up and snuggled in bed finishing "Jessica's Guide to Dating on The Dark Side".

It was freezing tonight!! Doesn't help at all that my heater's broken! Had 3 tops on and 2 pairs of socks!!!

Not a bad day at work at all today - went to Life Pharmacy at lunch time and picked up a few Clinique essentials. It's Bonus Time and got a haul of freebies too! Woohoo!

Rang mom and had a good chat with the parents. Went to bed pretty early in preparation for a big busy day at work tomorrow.

Busy morning but cruisy afternoon at work today - had a nice chat with Michele and Britt at work.

Made scrambled eggs (my style!) for dinner and just finished up a layout. Downloaded a few songs, played Bejeweled, backed up photos on my laptop and did a bit of editing. Just a nice relaxing evening for me today.

Woke up early and got picked up by Dhani. We went to Mba Nina's place to pick up the remainder of stuff left over from the last garage sale.

Jeffry and Mba Nina invited us in for breakfast... got to hang out and love on Kezia and Zay for a bit.. :)

Went to Rania's place and set everything out to sell. Spent most of the day just socializing and enjoying the sunshine. Tante Eti sold bubur ayam too... yum! :)

Got dropped home by Bang Dade and then went to evening mass. Stopped by Priza's to hang out for a bit and went to dinner at Wholly Pizza with Priza, Mark, Sammy and Adjie. It was nice to finally try New York style pizza.. they were huge!!!

Went home to bed early - blasted migraine! UGH!

Got up really early to get hair and makeup done for dance performance. Managed to take pictures and still have a fun time while we're all rushing around. Checked out and drove to Hastings at 10.30am. We got there with plenty of time to spare before our turn to perform. It rained on and off but never for long, thankfully. Our performance went really well and we truly enjoyed ourselves today.

We had lots of people asking to take photos with us and finally left to get changed into normal clothes! :) All of us had kebab for lunch and then started making our way back to Wellington.

Most of us napped in the car for a bit and just had a pretty quiet journey home - all of us were pretty tuckered out! Dedi somehow took the wrong turn and we ended up in Palmerston North - so we rang Andre to pick up our pendings (belts for our dance costume) and went on home to Wellington. Finally reached KBRI around 8-ish. Got dropped home by the Subandrios.

Bang Dade stopped by and dropped of presents from my brother and mommy... I got 3 new tshirts from my brother and a new knitted cardigan (sort of) and 3 pairs of tights from my mommy! YAY! :)

Went to bed early... it's been a really long day!

Super busy 1/2 day at work today. Had breakfast with Russell and Paul and then Russell dictated a report to me. Thankfully both Russell and Paul dropped me home at lunch time so I managed to get home in time before I was picked up to go to KBRI. Hung out at KBRI with the girls waiting for Tante Yanti and Mami Dien to arrive so that we could all depart. Had a yummy lunch of kroket, tahu isi and lemper.

We took off around 2pm and everyone of us were totally excited for this road trip. We took photos, listened to music, chatted, laughed, napped and I even read during the car ride. We got to Napier around 7pm and got checked in to Quest Hotel.

We were met with a few Indonesians from Napier and taken to dinner at CHAI. After dinner, all of us returned to the hotel and had an early night in preparation for the long day tomorrow.

Had the idea of putting together little goody bags for the girls for our roadtrip tomorrow. Went to Haere Mai Asian Market at lunch time to pick up some goodies. Sarina dropped me home after work and I set to work putting together little goody bags - made one for Kezia too and also one each for the moms and Mba Nin and Dedi. :)

Lia & Dhani picked me up for our last practice at KBRI. Turned out that Andre is in town again! This time with Evan. Got to KBRI and found out that Tante Yanti prepared 2 boxes of snacks and drinks for us girls!! OMG! That's insane.

Got home pretty late, finished packing and went to bed.

Insane reporting day today. My brain was totally exhausted!

Lia texted and asked if she could come by to hang out for a bit and I told her to come on over. And when she turned up, she brought along Andre, Satya and Ovy! That's such a nice surprise!! :)

We went into town and went to Momotea for bubble tea and some light snacks. :) We initially went to Sweet Mother's Kitchen but it was packed. But on the way home, I stopped by SMK again and picked up a slice of strawberry cream pie.. my first time having it.. mmm... it was good!

Did laundry, cleaned make up brushes, packed for the roadtrip on Friday and had an early night.

Dance practice after work today... got home early after work and jumped in the shower only to discover there's no hot water! Aaarrgggghhh... had an icy cold shower and even washed my hair! OMG!.

At the Embassy, Kezia came running up to me telling me that she's got a mini recital at school tonight and asked if I'd do her hair. So I half-braided them for her. :) We had a good amount of food at practice today... apparently there was a function in the afternoon and there was lots left over on top of the pizza bought for us!

Hehehhe... Checked out Facebook and played Bejeweled after I got home from practice... Got a really good score too!

Brand new week, brand new month.... this is going to be a pretty crazy month actually.. but lots to look forward to. Work's pretty full on today - catching up with all end of month reporting and invoicing... and thankfully I was organised enough to make lunch last night... barely had time to eat, much less go out and find food. Got home, did dishes, popped chicked in the crockpot, had a shower and a quick dinner.

Bibhien dropped by to drop off her dance costume, scrapped my 2 weeks worth of Feb daily photos (still yet to fully catch up on all of February!), scanned and uploaded them to SISTV, had a quick catch up with Boy on MSN and went to bed.

Intensive dance practice today... my legs were like jelly afterwards! Went to Ballroom to check out the monthly pool tournament - didn't play this month since they were playing 15-ball instead of the usual 8-ball. Hung out with friends there for a bit and went home. Made lunch for tomorrow, edited some daily photos and called it a day.

Got up at the crack of dawn today! Dhani came pick me up and got all my stuff for the garage sale.

Got to Mba Nina's place to set up and got invited for breakfast! :) Was there all day - 7am-5pm and I made quite a few sales... almost all my scrapbook stuff and books, about 1/2 of my shoes, a few handbags but the clothes were hard to move! It was such a social event with a lot of the usual people there and the embassy families.

Got pretty sunburnt on my arms and shoulders too! Ugh! Totally forgot the SPF on my arms!

Went to Kazu for dinner with the boys and went home. Mom rang to chat for a bit and I pretty much crashed early! It's been a long day!

Today was pretty intense with end of month reporting to do. Got home at 5.40pm (pretty late for a Friday!) and jumped in the shower and got ready for Rania & Hana's party. Gusti came by and hung out while I did my make up and we went off to Rania's.

There were lots of people.. mostly people I knew and a few new faces.... pretty good dinner of nasi uduk. When Mba Nina came, I fed Kezia dinner and played with Baby Zay.

Later on in the evening, we all got camera crazy and just took lots of photos.

Went home and went to bed - have a very early start tomorrow morning!

Still not 100% today but the medication definitely worked!!

Work was really busy and felt really long but actually finished at 4.45pm today. Jumped straight in the shower when I got home and put a laundry in the wash.

Priced more stuff for the garage sale and pretty much finished all the pricing I had to do for Saturday.

Woke up with signs of a cough developing - got to work and went to the pharmacy next door to get some cough syrup. By about midday, I had developed a cold and felt like crap! Went to and got Day and Night tablets. Got home from work and slept till 7.15pm! Didn't even really feel like eating.. chatted with Mba Nina about Pelangi Nusantara t-shirts and Napier trip.

Watched Gilmore Girls for a bit and discussed the garage sale on Saturday with Dhani and went off to bed.

Today was pretty crazy at work... met up with Lisa and went for our walk.

Made panfried fish and stirfry bok choy for our dinners - it's nice to eat with someone.. I get bored of eating on my own most days, so on the days we walk, I love having Lisa's company when I cook and eat.

Listed a couple of dresses on Trademe - hopefully they'll sell. Mom rang for a quick chat and caught up briefly with Yuk Wen on Facebook chat.

Went to 11am mass today and stopped by New World Metro to pick up a few essentials. I went to my favorite place - Borders to read for a bit and then went to KBRI for the usual Sunday dance practice today.

Mami Dien made bakso for us today.. yummy! :) When I got home after practice, I gave my stove a good scrubbing and cleaned the bathroom and mopped the kitchen too. Was good to get all these chores done...

Spent the evening chilling - checked emails, watched Gilmore Girls again and called it a day.

Gusti rang up and suddenly asked if I wanted to go for brunch. We went to the Occidental for build your breakfast (for brunch of course!).... went window shopping for a little bit and then met Emir and Rania. We looked at accessories for Rania and I ended up buying 2 rings at Diva. :)

Gusti dropped me off to dance practice and I had everyone sign Rania's birthday card. All of us went to Buller St to surprise Rania with her bday card and present. And then she came back to my place where I did her make up for her birthday dinner.

Relaxed for a bit, showered and got ready for a night out in town. We went club hopping and had lots of fun!! :)

Andre, Cendra and I had an early breakfast at KC and they both dropped me home. Cendra was leaving to go back to Indonesia permanently tomorrow. So it was good to be able to catch up with him.

Today was pretty quiet at work and I got to finish at 4pm but I stayed at work to chat with Boy on Facebook. It's been a while since we caught up. Met up with Ovy, Tia, Keni and Fina and then met up with Rania for coffee at Expressoholic. Eventually due to the boys not being able to decide about dinner, I had Friday night dinner with the girls at R&S Noodle House.

I asked Dhani & Lia if they would mind taking me grocery shopping as I had a very bare pantry at home!! So we did and I picked up a chocolate twist (just a sudden craving for it).

I spent the evening with a cup of coffee, chocolate twist and Gilmore Girls!! :) Ti Lin rang and we had a good catch up session too.

I called it a night pretty early today...

Andre, Cendra and a friend, Nina, came down to Wellington - met up with them for coffee before heading off to watch Valentine's Day with the girls. It's been a really long time since I last saw Andre. Was really great to catch up with him.

Disha couldn't come at the last minute because she wasn't feeling well, so I rang Marc to see if he wanted to go to the movie. He met up with us at Readings and went with us girls. He nodded off at various parts of the movie - hahah... I guess it's too much of a chick flick for him!

After the movie, Marc went home to get his car and picked, me, Lia and Ovy up and drove us to Khandallah where we met up with Dhani, Andre, Cendra and Nina. Mom fed us! Yum! Very late dinner... Marc enjoyed the food too, so that was good...

Went home at close to 11pm... was a nice evening out!

Today I walked to work (the long way via Lambton Quay) in my new orange heels and survived all day in them! They're so comfy!!! :)

Went to 11am mass today and then walked along Lambton Quay. Was not looking for anything in particular... just window shopping and then I walked past Mischief Shoes and saw the sale table outside laden with orange hued shoes! I couldn't resist having a peek and I saw a pair of heels I tried on back in December on SALE!!! 1/2 price!! I went in, tried it on and in the end bought it!

Went to Borders to have a read and kill time before I had to go to the Embassy for dance practice.

Rushed home after dance, showered and got a ride to Rania's place where I met up with the girls - Rania, Tia, Ovy and Hana. Ovy and I went ahead to Readings to purchase tickets for Valentine's Day (the movie) for cheap Tuesday and then went to La Casa Pasta where we're having single girls' Valentine's Day dinner together. The others were a bit late but it was all good. We ordered, and while waiting for our food, cam-whored quite a bit. :)

After dinner, we went to Starbucks to hang out for a bit and then got dropped home by Rania's friend. I don't usually go out on Sunday evenings, but it was good to be out with the girls.. plus it's first day of Chinese New Year today.. so it's nice to not be alone.

Chinese New Year Eve today... was feeling a bit homesick - one of those rare times. Usually Chinese New Year Eve means a big family dinner and hustle and bustle throughout the day preparing for the dinner. I'm away from home and there really isn't much Chinese New Year atmosphere here in Wellington, so I was feeling a bit blue....had dance practice today and took lots of pics with Baby Zay... he's too cute! Look at his expression and the sideway glance! Hihihih... he lifted my spirits a little bit.

Spoke with mom and dad and Vince, my sister-in-law.. and then Sammy texted me to see if I've had dinner... so I met up with him and Priza and we went to Miyabi for Japanese. I very nearly had a very pathetic CNY eve dinner of instant noodles.. thankfully that didn't happen.

After dinner, mom rang again and we caught up for a bit. And I went to bed feeling a bit better than when I woke up this morning. :)

Went to Courtenay Place for the NZI Rugby 7s street party tonight... had a great time with the girls plus Marc and Dhani.

Went for a drink at a Japanese bar later on (can't remember the name!) with Marc and then met up with Sammy, Adjie and his friend, Melissa at Public... didn't stay out too late.. was home by 2am... :)

My feet were totally dead though.... wore my new heels out tonight and thought that I'd broken them in enough.. obviously not!

My daddy's birthday today! Finished work a bit earlier and went to Borders to look for a present for Britt.

Dhani & Lia came pick me up and then Lia and I went window shopping to kill time. Met up with Sammy & Gusti and we went off to Sweet Mother's Kitchen, but it was too full and we had to wait for 30 minutes, so we decided to have dinner at CHA instead. Food was great!

Since it was such a nice warm evening, we decided to go sit at a pub (The Black Harp) to people watch (Rugby 7s is on - and lots of people dress up in really interesting costumes!). We didn't actually stay for long and there wasn't many people walking around yet, so we left and went home. Didn't do too much at home, just surfed SISTV gallery, checked Facebook and rang my daddy.

Flat out day at work today... don't feel 100%, like I've got a cold coming on... ugh! Took meds to keep it away - skipped evening walk with Lisa today since she wasn't feeling well too. Spent the evening editing photos and completed journaling for last week's layout. Started reading Breaking Dawn again! Heehee.. this is like the 6th time and I still love the story!

Spent most of the day at Lia's - we still had all the mattresses from last night out in the lounge... everyone just lazed around and we did karaoke most of the afternoon.
